Fall Sunday School Options
Fall Sunday School begins on Sunday, September 18th at 9:30 a.m.
Glenwood offers something for all ages. It's a great way to establish closer
relationships with fellow believers. Here are some of the options available:
Children ages 3-12
Fiesta Sunday School - Come join the party as we sing and play and learn about the
Bible. Ole'!Located in the lower level of the education wing, children will be together
for part of the Sunday School hour and then split up to allow for age appropriate activites.
Jr/Senior High
Encounter - This class, led by Cindy Berdis-Vinson, will meet on the 3rd floor of the
education wing. Students are challenged to grow closer to God and each otherthrough meaningful media, Bible study, discussion, and art.
We are planting seeds and helping them grow.
Glenwood has a long history of children's Sunday School, many of our adult class teachers and members were a part of that history.
Challengers
This adult Sunday School class meets on the 3rd floor of the education wing. They study the Bible and various Bible related topics.
Interpreters
Meet downstairs on the stage of the Social room for this adult Sunday School class. They study the Bible and various Bible related topics.
Friendship Class
Senior adults meet in the Parlor, down the hall from the Sanstuary, and follow the International Bible Series.
Upper Room Devotional Series
An adult Sunday School class thet meets in the Church Office and uses the Upper Room devotional booklet as a jumping off point for Bible study and discussion.
Abigails Angels
Adult women meet in the lower-level of the education wing to study various Bible topics related to women and use DVD media.
Knights of God
Adult men's class meets in the lower-level of the education wing and studies various Bible topics related to men.
Bible Studies:
We are currently offering a Wednesday noon brown bag lunch study.
Vacation Bible School:
For years Glenwood has offered Summer Vacation Bible School open to all children of our church and our community.
With music games and activities we give children a fun filled week of seeing how Jesus lives and works within them and the the world around them.
